so last week in the Dangling Bruin Climbing Competition i surprised myself and won first place in the intermediate division. go me :P soooo what did i win? a free pair of boreal climbing shoes!...wee :D so last night, i had the strangest dream (yes, it has to do climbing :D)

i was at some sort of sports store with christine (my roommie aka Do) and we were looking to buy climbing shoes. as she was tryin on some shoes, i stopped one of the ppl who worked there and asked about boreal shoes. she started flipping thru a catalog book and said "yeah, we dont carry much here...but *shifty eyes* theres a factory that i know of that has a huge selection. i can show you..." and i was like..cool! so i get Do and we head for the stairs and it was this sort of crystalized staircase that spiraled (insignificant detail)...so yeah, the lady takes us to the boreal climbing shoe factory that turns out to be a sort of museum/inn/shoe factory. There were about 3 rooms tho..hehe and they had these photos/paintings hangin on the wall in each and apparently they were created by the makers of the boreal shoes (wow! multitalented ppl) well, not only were these rooms to showcase the artwork, but they also rented these rooms out to ppl..haha so one of the girls came back to her room and was like..hello? and we said..oh *avoids eye contact* see ya! :P then we headed towards the basement which was where the factory was. it was soooooo cool (think willywonka & the chocolate factory, but with climbing shoes!) apparently, (in my dream) climbing shoes are spraypainted...hehe, so there was that section and then a laces section and some other neat stuff. We had to wade thru some sort of goo to get to the side wall that was actually a traverse to get to the back wall. why were we lookin to get to the back wall you ask? well, there you could see cupboards and cupboards of colorful climbing shoes....man, it was like heaven (for feet? haha) so we're traversing the wall, tryin to not fall into the goo when we see a group of rowdy college folk. they've stripped down to their swimsuits (did they know about the goo beforehand?) and were playing in the goo...it was strange, i think one of the girls was my hs friend....yes

and then i woke up and was late for work. oh, but the dream was so good :D
