why is your nickname kneetoad/what's a kneetoad?
silly story really. goes a lil something like this:

characters: linda (yours truly), katy (best friend), alisa (katy's sister)
circa 1998 (soph yr high school)
katy and i are on the phone with ea other, talking about random things, as usual

alisa: [walks in] who are you talking to?
katy: linda
alisa: who?
katy: LINDA
alisa: wha? kneetoad?
katy: o.O linda, alisa just called you kneetoad
linda: huh? kneetoad?
alisa: haha, that's funny. i'm going to call linda kneetoad from now on.

and the name stuck. it went on to become my screen name (which then turned hawaiian to kulipoloka), my unicamp name (so if you hear some crazy random person yell out kneetoad! for no reason, theyre uh..talking to me)

i wish i had a more exciting story of how i got the name...
