sometimes i forget how much i like playing basketball. i always say im gonna quit to avoid finger/hand injuries that would be detrimental to my climbing, but then a tournament rolls around and i am reminded of why i keep playing. ah, the joys of playing defense, reading players, sprinting, cutting, driving, taking jumpshots, cheering, missing layups :P, diving for loose balls, gym burns, bruises...the adrenaline pumping as a close game counts down its last seconds...and of course playing with a group of girls who are total rockstars in my eyes (: go VC & company!

played in a UCI tourney- finished 1st in our pool, 3rd overall (although i believe we could have won it all...but dont get me started on that ;\ *shakes fist* damn you refs for messing up!) but yay for T-SHIRTS! (that's the most important thing) haha
