| the good, the bad, the ugly |

good news: my sister had her baby!
bad news: she couldn't make it to my birthday party saturday night.
good: the birthday party was a success! thank you to the 50+ ppl who came out to D&Bs and showed us some lovin saturday night (:
bad: we are short $225 for dinner/drinks. if you haven't paid for dinner yet, please do so soon! (or we will have a very unhappy swan)
good: i ran the Long Beach half marathon sunday mawnin and improved my personal best-- 1:55:08
bad: i had much alkie and only 3 hours of sleep the night before and no warm up/stretch time morning of and was crazy dehydrated
good: i got an amazing massage after. thanks clever! what a great birthday gift :D

good: i got into the Care Extenders Internship at UCLA-Santa Monica Hospital, which is super exciting (: considering how competitive it is to get in and the fact i was rejected the first time
bad: yet another thing i must squeeze into my schedule of school, work, exercise, design, studying, VA hospital volunteering, waiting for the damn bus, etc etc.
good: we are halfway done with the semester!
bad: there's still 8 more weeks left :(

good: this week is almost over...thank god.

Nice to see you're still competing Kneetoad! I'm still upset that NYC didn't pick me as one of the 37k who ran the marathon last weekend. Boo!

And congrats on getting into CX... it's an interesting program. Go for OB/ED/Surg - they're the most interesting rotations by far! In OB if the moms go home early, you can eat their meals. =) ED is just fun, and GREAT docs there who are friendly as heck.

Good luck w/ nursing! Maybe see you somewhere down the line. =)

Happy belated birthday.

Ciao,
Allen/Kodiak
