so today in our secondary prevention class, we were talking about the unfortunate obesity epidemic in America and diet fads and the lack of physical activity and the obsession with thinness that drives unrealistic expectations and eating disorders and blah blah blah. and i realized that i must be frikken psychic or something because lookie at what i was wearing today! yeah, ok. tis all. the end. oh wait. i take that back...not the end. what followed is even better. so i pointed out to my classmate that i would be a perfect spokesperson for today's lecture and she agreed. and then she looked over at me and asked "wait, unicorns aren't real animals right?" haha (: ah, and much laughter ensued (i was laughing with her, not at her!) and that made my day. ok. the end, for real.
