i must say this weekend has been quite exciting. i think im losing my voice from screaming so much, haha :P
on friday, went to the staples center for the first time ever! it was cool, went to watch the Clippers vs Knicks. It was a pretty exciting game, the Clippers won by 2 (nice winning jump shot by Simmons with like 20 ticks left) 96-94. Q. Richardson had an awesome game...it was fun to watch. Got the Mavs and Timberwolves games left to watch..cant wait for the latter...yeeeah KG! So the first time NBA experience was a good one :D

on saturday, had the two-day Cal Cup Volleyball Tournament at Irvine. Our team kicked ass on saturday (: we went 8-1, ending the day with a +78 (the scoring system is based on point differentials: (+) for wins, (-) for losses-- the state cup goes to the top team of the winning section [nor cal vs so cal] so its kinda like two competitions :P you want to beat teams in your section in point totals, but you wanna root for them to win so that your section wins overall..haha) it was a lot of fun. we got a kick outta watching other teams play tho, esp the boys. seriously, half my team were just gawking over some of the guys...haha such crazy girls :P they even picked one out to be 'my guy'... poor guy :P hehe. anywhos, we probly played our best game ever against UC Davis I. It was awesome. Everyone was so on! (i was having a good day, so yay! :D) good job bruins! you guys are all rock stars (:
today....uh not so good. some of us were running late to the tourney and got pulled over and ticketed...grrr. so we were late. no warm-up time (i sucked man...) it was sooooo hard to get over the hump ;\ dang man, it was so frustrating- but ended the tournament 10-5, +72 (which was the highest point total out of all the teams north and south!) but the north won overall, so the cup went to UC Davis II. *sigh* it was not meant to be...soooo close. anywhos...just got back not too long ago. gonna go on a run to cleanse myself of the looooong weekend (: bruin girls for ya:
