| ...and its back to the grind | and so begins my last quarter at UCLA *sigh*
:: tryin to squeeze in the fun before class starts :::
sat- went to watch Home on the Range with da sistas and their men (playin the fifth wheel..teehee) it was pretty entertaining, but didnt have the disney magic i was hoping for ;\ afterwards, had dinner at Manpuku Tokyo BBQ- such gooooood food- ya grill your own yummy meats- we racked up the bill on that one tho...a buckthirty..yikes! (haha, thanks for the heads up on the lingo vinh :P) but oh so worth it. i was dreamin bout karubi shio and negi meshi that night ;) mmmmm
sun- i was zombie-me...my sleeping sched was all outta wack. finished up my latest art project ;) it was lotsa fun (jus a lil sumptin for the girls on club vball team) then i took the longest nap ever- almost 4 hours. man...so outta it.
:: scoooooo is coooooo ::
so i've been tryin to figure out my class schedule all this past week. it's got me all confoozed...
Plan A: take just one class and find another job, gym it up, play, pursue my new hobbies :P or whatever in my free time
problem: i wouldnt have enough units to keep my work study job. boooo
PLAN B: take 2 classes and still have a good amt of free time to do other things
problem: not enough units to keep financial aid. dangit....
PLAN C: enroll in 3 classes, drop one after 3rd week (finaid unit checks) and take 2 P/NP and still have time to do the things i wanna do. yaaaaaay!
problem: what classes to take?! haha. gee, i'm so indecisive :P
my week: sat in on greek mythology, history of religion, and intro to sports psychology. planned to drop sports psych. decided didnt like greek mythology- dropped that and enrolled in a music history class: film and music (: but that was during the sports psych class, so dropped sportpsych and enrolled in a psychobio class (for units sake) sooooo, now enrolled in 3 classes (to get finaid), will be enrolled in 2 after 3rd week-hist of religion and film&music (to still have work study) and will take them P/NP (so am still student and can get into GYM! :D) alrite! problem solved :)

other than the schedule mania, not much goin on around heres. but dude- had a spectacular week of gym and of course FOOD (yaps..i know i talk bout food a lot, hehe thats why they call me the cow :D)
mon- dinner with vinhswan and luwin (sister's fiancee's best man) at damon&pythias
wed- salad, yummy homemade korean bbq (mmmm short ribs), edamames, and pineapple for dessert!
thurs- tofu salad, steak, grilled bellpeppers & onions with yums-momma-recipe sauce yummmmm
also had a VC get together that night- gotta love them. two words: cranium and spoons (:
fri- swanny made some mean fried rice ;T grrr
sat- Cambodian New Years! met up with parents in long beach only to drive to monterey park for some good eatin at Lobster King. It was soooooo good. Good deal too, buy a lobster, get a crab free! We named our lobster Louie (only to find it was a female...well hellooooo Louise :P) and we named the crab Carl (only to find that it too was female...haha oh Carla :P) *sigh* nothing like good food and good company :D

OH! i almost forgot one of the most exciting things, haha. so for the most part, i really dislike shopping. the only times that i will go shopping is if i absolutely need to get something or if im in the shopping mood (which happens only about twice a year) so yesterday, i said to swan, "let's go shopping." and shopping we did! *scrunches face* i have acquired:
- 2 pairs of jeans (i was on a search for ones that actually fit me, seeing that i am out of proportion- im short and i think i have too long of a femur hehe)
- 2 free belts with the jeans
- new top (not really my style, but just for kicks)
- roxy swim suit (keeping to my 'a-new-swimsuit-a-year' trend..haha)
- pair of sunglasses (i lost my last ones at the gym- err...i think someone stole them)
- hairbands (for the blasted hair that i wish i could cut but must wait til august)
- adidas bball shorts (to repay vinh for the bball shorts im stealing from him, heh)

all for.....95 bucks! whatta deal huh? :P i'd like to apply Rebecca Bloomwood's (confessions of a shopaholic- read it!) logic here. bear with me *clears throat* according to the price tags (from the original retail prices) i saved a total of $140. Since i only paid $95 for the entire purchase, my items were actually free! and i even made 45 dollars! :D haha..great mentality- gotta read those book(s) tho- they're fun :P
...hrrmmmm, although i dont know why i bought clothes seeing that all i really wear are sweats and t-shirts ;\ haha, well thas why we keep receipts right?

welps, enjoy what's left of the weekend everyone (:
Happy Cambodian New Year and Happy Easter!
