had yet another spectacular weekend (: was at the camp-a-thon from fri-sun for Unicamp. (Thank you all who donated and sponsored me! your contribution is soooo greatly appreciated :D) It was soooo incredibly fun!
Fri night- we just learned and played some camp games and sang camp songs, got to know everyone a lil butta. Pink Skies and I decided to go on a mission to make a session seven banner at rieber..hehe and we even found some wooden posts to hold it up :P upon returning, we discovered that the sprinklers had gone off at our 'campground' and everyone's things were drenched....but it's all good, we toughed it out and made the most of it!
Sat- went through some workshops/rotations- archery, outdoor games, had some lunch (salmon...mmmm) , personality test rotation, started our build-a-bridge & castle project for the contest (see picture below..yah, ours was bomb!) hehe :D chillaxed and bonded with our session. sat nite- had our session cheer competition- yeah session seven...on the tarp tarp tarp tarp tarp! :P (riiight, i dont think anyone would get that joke, hehe) we also had a Poker Tournament as part of our FUNdraising (: 10 buck buy in- texas hold em'. I didnt last too long....just wasnt my night, hehe (even tho i had the whole outfit goin on!- borrowed Chunky Monki's green vegas visor and pants suspenders and i had flare! haha :P) but i did stay up to watch it go down to the final 4 (by then it was 430am) but i just couldnt go on....so i zonked out..hehe. (yay for Zoob and ESPY for makin it to to the final 6!)
Sun- did the obstacle course rotation, and had the ropes/challenge course with the lovely session 7 (: that was some good times! learned a lot about trust and support and team work. all-in-all, a wonderful weekend that got me all pumped up about Unicamp (: for the kids...
