I have returned from Squamish...yay! and what do i have to say about it....hmm, it was an adventure. beautiful rainforest. cool boulders. lotsa climbing (loooong days- sunrise 5am, sunset 930pm). fun...but not spectacular. for some reason, my excitement and motivation levels were a bit low the entire trip. im not sure why i wasnt crazy psyched about the climbing there (i mean...it is squamish), but i dont think i was the only one feeling that way. I think Poo and TC were kinda mellow on the trip as well. The only fire found was in our lil novice climber TonyTwoTone (who was a send machine- 3 V4s...woo!) Oh vells, I tried to make the most of it and im glad i went. I sent my first outdoor V4 on a slopey climb called Easy in an Easy Chair. That was cool. I got to see all the crazy strong professional climbers at the RocTrip happenings (Chris Sharma said hi to me! Jason Kehl gave me directions to a boulder. and i was a foot away from Lisa Rands and Lynn Hill :P). That was a treat. All in all...a good trip. Alas, i am back at work, bored as hell. looking forward to going back to school. i even had a dream about it last nite. dont remember the details but i think it was a good dream. (: at the moment, i just really need something good to happen because i am running on low. oh life, fill me up. *sigh*
